In a nutshell, I grew up in Connecticut my whole life with my family Dad, Mom, sister Jamie, Pau Pau and MaMa, with a few animals along the way. The craziest thing to currently reside in the Lee household is a Chinatown turtle that was once the size of a quarter, but now the size of two of my hands (you’ll have to ask Jamie about its amazing survival story). One of my fondest memories growing up were our family car trips be it to somewhere local to see our New York family or to Orlando to visit our big eared friend. They were always good times.

HS
High school was almost a decade ago for me, yet I still find it amazing (a good amazing that is) that I keep in contact with my friends from high school. Beyond the world of academia, I engaged in activities such as band and lacrosse. Being the band dork that I am, I knew I wanted to go to a college that had a band program.

The University of Connecticut is where I met my family away from home, and Xuan.

That is how many children are diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder a year. Alongside many talented people, I work on various language research studies at the Yale Child Study Center.

Allison is one of my oldest and dearest friends. I have known her since we were 5 years old. Al, you are one of the greatest people I’ve ever met. It amazes me that almost 22 years later, we are still such good friends and you are still one of the few people I can always count on. I am honored to know that I will be able to see you walk down the isle…and I know it’s going to be hard from me! How did we go from 1st grade to marriage?? I love you to death!!
